In Mr.President!, you take on the role of a brave, self-sacrificing Secret Service agent assigned to protect the most hated presidential candidate in modern memory -- the abrasive Ronald Rump. In each level, you'll need to fling yourself in front of an assassin's bullet in order to save your candidate's life. Fortunately, you're bulletproof, because the next level is just going to bring another assassin and another desperate dive to deflect the fatal shot. Gameplay is simple: you patrol in front of the candidate and, when the shot goes off, run and leap into its path. Timing is critical here; jump too early or late and it's an early end to the election. Throwing yourself in front of a bullet is fun, but Mr.President! is essentially a one-joke game. Once you've had a good laugh at the absurdity of the situation, its levels can start to feel a little repetitive. As the difficulty level increases, the challenges can also start to feel frustratingly random; you may need some luck in terms of your placement relative to the bullet trajectory in order to succeed. Once you've enjoyed the gag at the heart of this game, there isn't much else to it. But there isn't meant to be: it's a light-hearted, humorous game without a lot of depth.
